Pinpoints the edges of wood or metal studs and joists behind walls, floors, and ceilings and continuously detects and warns of hot AC wires in all modes. Detection depth typically up to 3/4" StudScan mode, up to 1-1/2" DeepScan mode, AC position accuracytypically 90-250 V at 50-60 Hz within 6" of a hot unshielded wire. AC sensing depth up to 3" in typical drywall with Romex wiring. SpotLite pointing system shines a bright beam of light over stud edges, and has an audio signal and recessed LEDs. Non-marring wall pads keep wall clear of marks. Calibrates instantly for immediate use. Splash and water resistant, not waterproof. Operating temperature 20 degrees to 110 degrees F, weight 5.7 oz.
