StudSensor makes it easy to find studs behind the wall when you want to hang pictures, shelves, mirrors, and cabinets. Just hold it against the wall, turn it on, and move it sideways until the audio tone and the LED lights indicate that you've found a stud edge. StudSensor automatically calibrates to the density of your particular wall and finds wood or metal studs up to 3/4" deep behind drywall.
