Red Stud Magnet stud finder. 4in.L x 7/8in.W x 1in.H. Comes with a red magnetic shield which blocks the magnetism when the magnet is not is use. This allows the Stud Magnet to be stored neatly in a toolbox or drawer by preventing it from attracting to other tools or nails. To use the Stud magnet remove the magnetic shield and move magnet against a wall to locate drywall screws or nails in the stud. Set nail in notched end for easy startup.
